Chapter 11

Life was good. Tyrone was doing the right thing. He went to Baltimore and picked up the twins and kept them for the weekend. They got to meet their baby sister, Dimples. Susan came for a visit and allowed to Tyrone to spend some time with the baby. Now all he had to do is get Belinda to do the same. He was starting to lose his patience. At least now he was putting forth the effort, calling and communicating on a regular basis. He wasn’t having these kinds of issues with Susan and Rachel. They were happy to see his stepping up to the plate. It wasn’t easy keeping the three of them, but he did it. He took them to the park, zoo, museum, and the movies. He had to keep them busy, wear them out so they would go to sleep at night. Dana laughed about it because she thought it was funny. Tyrone kept them kids running around and by the time they got back to his place they were tired and so was he. As soon as they fell asleep Tyrone was right behind them. He talked with Dana for a few minutes and it was a wrap. Shout out to the women that do this every day. A couple of times Tyrone almost wanted to take that drive and drop them twins off. He saw why his mother stopped at one but then again she couldn’t even handle the one she had.

When Susan came to pick up Dimples, Tyrone did apologize to her once again. She took that as an open invitation to try and get some. Nope, not that type of party. That door was closed. She was talking about she would move back and that she still loved him. Then when he went to drop the twins off, Rachel had the nerve to make a pass at him. She found out that her wife was cheating on her, so she wanted it to be even. Yep, he turned that down too. Tyrone and Dana were tripping off of them. He knew that shocked them, they didn’t ever think he would turn them down. It might have been a little different if it was Belinda. A small piece of him wanted to know what it would be like just to hold her again. Chances of that happening were slim to none.

That snake ass Candace went running her mouth to Daniel and blew the spot up. Dana wanted to tell him herself. He still wasn’t speaking to her or their mom. Tyrone knew he was pissed when he didn’t call his nieces. He was faithful about keeping in touch with them. Eventually, Tyrone would reach out to him just to see if he could ease his mind. He just wants to let him know that he loves Dana, and he plans on doing right by her. That’s what he told Mrs. Jones because she came at him with this speech, so he just let her know off the rip.
